Happy Halloween

Boo! Wow do two weeks ever fly by, I've been a busy boy the last couple of weeks. I visited with Grandma, I got sick with cold and Lately my gums hurt. My Mommy keeps sticking her fingers in my mouth, I do it right back at her- serves her right. I'vealso been distracted reading my Aunty Laura's blog. She's having a baby and the baby doesn't want to come out - but her stories are sure entertaining! But back to me.... Today everyone is all excited. I'm not sure what it's all about but my parents keep talking about Halloween. Mummy and Daddy carved pumpkins - they're funny looking. Mommy made a cat pumpkin....

Daddy made a tragic clown pumpkin...

I dressed up as a clown for Halloween. Here's my impression of Daddy's tragic clown pumpkin.

No I wasn't a tragic clown! I was a happy clown. Mommy and Daddy took me out to people's houses to trick or treat. We went to Bob and Jackie's, Mike and Lorraine (she sure talks fast! I like her.) and Denise. I like trick or treating you get candy, but Mommy and Daddy won't let me have any - what's up with that? We'll see who gets candy next year!

Yay! I spent the morning with Grandma Tinkler. We had a great time, we played in the basement, I drew on Grandma's crossword, we danced to music and went for a walk. I melted her heart and tricked her into not putting me down for a nap. She's so smart though, she can understand me... I was telling her to look at the squirrels when we were out for a walk and I was saying my own name. My parents, they don't get it when I say stuff to them, good thing Grandma's around to tell them. I watched hockey with Daddy while Grandma went to watch Mummy play her violin. The weather is still bad what happened to those warm days when I didn't have to wear shoes or a stupid fuzzy hat?

It's still raining in Ottawa. I had a boo boo today. I fell under the table and bumped my mouth and cut my lip. It hurt, but I got lots of cuddles from Mummy and Daddy. My Grandma Tinkler is coming to visit tomorrow I can't wait. My Aunty Laura said I should put a picture up of myself... so here you go.

Well it's a dreary day in Ottawa, very rainy, no park today! I've been a busy boy. On Saturday I went to my auntie Lisa and uncle Darren's for breakfast. Mommy and Daddy were busy looking at photographs - how vain. My other "mommy" Hasema put a clown outfit on me today as a practice for HALLOWEEN! She told Mom and Dad that I looked very cute in it -though they're not going to get to see it until Halloween. I'm not sure if they are dressing up for Halloween or not - they might be too old.

I'm starting to think that this walking thing is easier than I thought. I can take lots of steps at a time, but I still like to crawl, especially if I need to get somewhere. Well I gotta take a bath now, I want to stick my hands under the running water - I going to try to burn myself - let's see how quick Mommy is!

Hi!

My name is Timothy Winston Green, I'm eleven months old and my geeky mommy thought it would be fun for me to have my own blog. We do fun things at our house all the time, such as playing peek-a-boo, where's daddy?, bouncing tennis balls, reading stories and going to the park. I *really* like playing in the garbage and the recycle bin but my parents keep moving me away from them, I don't know what their problem is but I'll keep trying to play with them. My favourite activity is to dance, especially to CBC intro songs like "As It Happens," but my tastes also include songs such as "Black Dog"; I'll dance to pretty much anything. I'm starting to do this thing my parents call "walking". Every time I use my feet and take a few steps they make a huge fuss, they smile and clap their hands. I like that... and clap my hands too. Today I'm a big boy my parents bought me a booster seat so I can eat at the table with Mommy and Daddy. Well, I'm ready to go and play again. So I'll write later. Bye!
